This blond-haired dynamo proved to be one of the Cell C Sharks’ stars during last season’s Currie cup campaign, which saw the Durbanites reach the final.
Equally at home in the centre of the front row or on the side of the scrum, Richardson was utilised more regularly as openside flanker during the Currie Cup and with stunning effect, but his 2021 season has been disrupted through an ankle injury.
Educated at Kearsney College, he represented SA Schools and the Junior Springboks in 2017 and 2019 respectively and earned his first Super Rugby cap for the Cell C Sharks less than two years later.
