Nineties Springbok legend Ruben Kruger was dubbed the ‘Silent Assassin’.

A man of few words, Kruger’s play, work rate and, indeed, tackling did the talking.

His nephew, Henco Venter, is cut from pretty much the same cloth, and, since joining the Cell C Sharks two years ago, this hard-grafting loosie has not only added immense value in terms of experience, but also provided invaluable leadership.

An experienced and hard-grafting campaigner, Venter has been going about his job in an unobtrusive yet highly constructive fashion, and he is especially prominent in the Cell C Sharks’ defensive alignment.
