A tough and reliable midfielder, Ward has become renowned for some pretty big hits – despite the fact that he is not one of the biggest three-quarters in the business.
Ward is a Grey High old boy, having cut his teeth as an age-group player in the Eastern Cape. His Super Rugby debut was for the Southern Kings in 2016 and he has 24 caps to date.
