Tinotenda Mavesere

The Cell Sharks further strengthened their loose forward arsenal with the signing of Zimbabwe-born Tino Mavesere, aka ‘The Driller’, who, like Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira, was educated at the famous Churchill High School in Harare.

Mavesere, who has joined the Durban-based outfit from the Zimbabwe Sables, is, at 23 years old, one of the brightest young prospects in the country, following his superlative performances for the University of Western Cape (UWC) during last year’s Varsity Cup competition.
