Eben Etzebeth (born 29 October 1991) is a South African rugby union lock who plays for the Sharks and the Springboks. Widely regarded as one of the greatest locks of his generation, he is known for his physical dominance, aggression, and work rate. He began his career with the Stormers before a stint in France with Toulon and later joining the Sharks. Etzebeth has been a cornerstone of the Springboks’ forward pack, playing a key role in consecutive Rugby World Cup victories.
