Having represented the Springboks and with four years of English Premiership experience with Worcester Warriors, Francois Venter has brought heaps of rugby intelligence, as director of rugby Neil Powell put it, to the Hollywoodbets Sharks. The 32-year-old midfielder appeared in seven tests for South Africa in 2016 and 2017, and accumulated 55 caps for the Warriors since 2018. Venter initially launched his career with the Blue Bulls, before racking up close on 100 appearances for the Cheetahs outfit and also forming part of their triumphant Currie Cup campaign in 2016.
