Tipping the scales at 122 kg and standing 1.86 m tall, Hanro Jacobs is a big front-row unit. He also has the power and presence at scrum time to back his imposing physique, and his scrummaging prowess has been evident since schooldays Jacobs attended Paul Roos Gimnasium in Stellenbosch. Jacobs is a product of SA Rugby’s Elite Player Development programme, having rep-resented WP at the U13 and U18 Craven Weeks, as well as the U16 Grant Khomo Week, prior to being selected for SA Schools in the Aon U18 International Series in 2018.
