It’s almost that time of the year again. SharksFest is back, and we’re going even bigger for the biggest party in Durban.
This year, SharkFest falls on 20 December as we take on one of our fiercest rivals, the Vodacom Bulls in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship (VURC). The Vodacom Bulls, based in Pretoria, and the Hollywoodbets Sharks, from Durban, represent distinct rugby cultures: the Vodacom Bulls are known for their dominant, physical forward play, while the Hollywoodbets Sharks often showcase a more expansive, tactical style. Their clashes are marked by passionate fanbases, intense confrontations on the field, and a history of high-stakes encounters.
Off the field, fans will have the best time at SharksFest, our annual celebration to thank you, the Warrior Nation, for your endless support. We’ve got a big day planned to make sure every second is action-packed!
There’s a little something for everyone during SharksFest. Expect live music and an incredible performance by Mafikizolo! Plus there’ll be food markets, fireworks, exciting giveaways, beer and gin gardens, and so much more.
