Synergy Westville Old Boys picked up their second win of their debut Premier Division season with a convincing 59-5 victoĺry over a luckless Amanzimtoti Rugby Club last Friday evening.

Leading 28-0 at the break the South Coast Terriers simply had no answer to the onslaught from the home side as they eventually crossed for nine tries to one from the visitors.

Dillon Taljaard led the charge crossing for two tries with one each going to Tythan Adam, Trent Bartrum, Brandon Bailing, Hendrick Potgieter, Matthew Jackson, Brian Habbick and Miegal Joubert with Gav Scott converting seven.

Finally in the only game played on Saturday College Rovers hammered UKZN Pietermaritzburg 80-0 after leading 54-0 at the interval scoring 12 tries 10 of which were converted. 

Rovers fell apart in the second session after a sublime first half scoring only 26 unanswered points.

Duran Krummeck once again led the charge with three touchdowns 

This Saturday sees Varsity College hosting Durban Collegians, Rovers travel to Amanzimtoti to face the South Coast Terriers, UKZN Pietermaritzburg visit Richards Bay and Westville Old Boys RFC are at home to UKZN Durban
