The Investec Champions Cup is Europe's premier club rugby competition, bringing together the continent's strongest sides alongside South Africa's leading URC teams to compete for the title of European club champions. Twenty-four teams qualify each season, the top performers from the Gallagher Premiership, Top 14 and United Rugby Championship, and are drawn into pools before progressing through a knockout stage to the final. Bordeaux Bègles head into the 2026/27 season as back-to-back defending champions.
