Although a hard-scrummaging prop, Dian Bleuler has been familiar with the goal-line since schooldays. The 24-year-old recorded a brace of tries during a Craven Week outing in 2017, and more recently stole the limelight for the Hollywoodbets Sharks in Mbombela when he powered through for the match-equalling try in the 81st minute of a crunch Currie Cup encounter with the defending champions, the Pumas (which Nevaldo Fleurs converted for victory). A South Africa U20 representative, Bleuler made his senior debut for the Stormers against the British & Irish Lions in 2021, prior to linking up with Hollywoodbets Sharks last year.
