Despite enjoying limited playing opportunities on the Heineken Champions Cup stage in 2023, Marnus Potgieter seized the opportunity to record a brilliant brace in the 32-3 win against Bordeaux at home. A hard-running and committed winger, who can also be utilised in midfield, Potgieter originally arrived on the scene for the Bulls during the Super Rugby Unlocked competition in 2020. He made his debut for the Blue Bulls later that same year in the Currie Cup Premier Division, but joined forces with the Hollywoodbets Sharks in 2021, where he regularly impresses with his speedy sorties along the tramlines.
