Later in 2023, the 27-year-old, who had previously also represented the Leopards and Southern Kings, helped to establish the Cheetahs at the top of the Currie Cup Premier Division table with a magnificent try and four penalty goals for a 31-27 win against the Bulls in Pretoria.
